Ideation 8,216
Stopped taking photos and doing write ups, but took a few snaps on my phone the other day. Went out with ORT off here, had a good mooch about, the rabbits didn't want to bolt. The dogs worked well, I was a bit of a moody git (over tired!), ORT was extremely patient and the weather was nice. We ended on 23. Could have had more, but had a few lay ups and the disco carrot was being a twat. The end. Cheers to ORT for the company and a good day 4 Quote Link to post

cantona 310
How do you work two dogs together without to much competition going on? My and my mates dog won't release the bunny between them but on there own there fine. Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
How do you work two dogs together without to much competition going on? My and my mates dog won't release the bunny between them but on there own there fine. My whippet is very passive on that front, he will release the rabbit to the older bitch if needs be. But generally they have their own little areas to cover and when one hits one of their nets, they deal with it and the other dog stands back and waits / watches. A lot of the time it depends how much action there is. With this pair of dogs we really don't have much of a problem with competition. With others it is more of a problem. Quote Link to post
NEWKID 27,165
The whippets looking in great shape Jai, as far as 2 dogs goes, we always have a dog either side of the hedge... nothing stops the terrier though ( I doubt a wall would ) Quote Link to post
